A shared space needs a few clear rules
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Verselet international service, operated by Easy Slip (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. By using Verselet, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who may use Verselet
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country. If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must do so for you. You must comply with applicable law and any store rules that apply to your download.
2. Accounts and guest access
You may browse as a guest. Features such as publishing require an account. Keep your device and account access secure, provide accurate information, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not sell, transfer, automate, or impersonate an account.
3. Your poems and other content
You retain ownership of content you create. When you submit content, you give Verselet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, translate only at your request, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Verselet service. This license ends when the content and account are deleted, except for copies another user has lawfully shared outside Verselet and limited technical recovery copies.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content. Public-domain work should be accurately attributed. Do not submit copyrighted poems, film dialogue, lyrics, artwork, or translations that you do not have permission to use.
4. Poetry and community standards
Verselet is intended for poetry, including prose poetry and multilingual work—not unrelated long-form stories, spam, or promotional posts. We may use automated checks and human review to assess safety and whether a submission fits this purpose.
You may not post unlawful, threatening, hateful, exploitative, sexually abusive, deceptive, privacy-invasive, infringing, or malicious content; encourage self-harm or violence; target another person for harassment; evade safety controls; or disrupt the service. Context matters in poetry, but artistic form does not excuse harm or illegality.
5. Review, reports, and enforcement
Submissions may be held, rejected, unpublished, or removed. Users can report content and block accounts. We may limit features, suspend access, or delete accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or repeated violations. Where practical, we will explain a moderation decision and offer a way to contact support.
6. Copyright concerns
If you believe content infringes your rights, email support@verselet.cc with the work you own, the Verselet content and location, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation. We may request additional information before acting.
7. Service changes
Verselet is an evolving service. Features may change, pause, or end, and access may occasionally be interrupted. We aim to preserve user choice and provide notice before material changes when reasonably possible.
8. Ending your use
You may stop using Verselet at any time and can permanently delete your account in the app. We may end access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, a legal requirement, or a security threat. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as responsibility for earlier conduct and legal limitations—continue to apply.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
Verselet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every translation, moderation decision, or user submission is complete or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Verselet is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the service.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised date and give additional notice when required. Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected. Questions can be sent to support@verselet.cc.
